Why: Family, Fun and Fitness
This is the motto of Little Athletics and it is certainly how our centre runs. We want you to have fun with your children while they learn new skills and get some great healthy exercise.
We do need the help of parents to make the centre run, but as a centre we give you heaps of support to get you started.
Uniform:
We have a uniform that all children wear to the weekly meets, if you have one from last year you are welcome to wear that. New members will be able to purchase a uniform at the Clubroom on any meet night.

Little Athletics is for children and youth aged from 5 - 17.
Your child will enjoy learning new skills, the excitement of competition & making new friends.
Little Athletics is a very family oriented junior sport which means we look forward to seeing you regularly & assisting in various roles around the centre.
Portland Little Athletics Centre offers a variety of events for everyone. We will help you learn the skills to run, jump & throw.
Season 2023-2024 will commence in term 4 at Nelson Park, Portland
Registrations for season 2023-2024 are open.
Registrations and payment must be completed through the Little Athletics Victoria website prior to athletes attending.
A special Trial Athlete registration (no payment) is also be available for new athletes, and should be completed on the Little Athletics Victoria website.
Competition is held each Thursday evening during Term 4, 2023, and Term 1, 2024
Please arrive at 5pm for the warm-up, ready for a 5.15pm sharp start
The session runs until approximately 6.30pm
Parents/carers are required to stay during the session to supervise their children and assist with measuring, recording and the like.
Please no dogs, unless assistance dogs.
